Triangle Entrepreneurship Week is a collaborative effort dedicated to connecting entrepreneurs with local leaders, capital and resources so they may successfully create and build future business opportunities to foster new jobs and economic growth in North Carolina. Throughout the week, more than 20 events will take place throughout the Triangle to address topics such as digital and mobile media, green businesses, women in business and financial pitfalls associated with startup companies. With more than 700 local business owners and entrepreneurs expected to attend, the events will serve as a wonderful opportunity for networking and connecting with inspiring community business leaders. Featured speakers for the 2012 Triangle Entrepreneurship Week include N.C. Rep. Deborah Ross (D-Wake); Arthur Gordon, founder of Irregardless Café; Matt Kopac, social responsibility manager at Burt’s Bees; and Jesse Lipson, creator of ShareFile, among others. Ives will be a featured panelist for an event titled “Critical Marketing Tools.”
“We are very excited to be involved as a partner sponsor for this year’s Triangle Entrepreneurship Week,” said Brian Batchelor. “The five-day series of events presents a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs and investors to make direct connections as they work together for a common goal – creating additional jobs, resources and revenue for our great state.”
“Brasco Design + Marketing has been a wonderful company to partner with for helping to market, brand and promote Triangle Entrepreneurship Week,” said Jon Leonardo, co-founder of Triangle Entrepreneurship Week. “Brandon and Brian’s leadership on the planning committee was also incredibly helpful as they each posses a passion for entrepreneurship, and they have a great deal of advice to offer men and women interested in starting their own business.”
