Brasco Helps Raise $8,500 for Charity at the 2012 NC CEO Forum

Brandon Ives, managing partner and marketing strategist for Brasco Design + Marketing (http://www.brascomarketing.com/index.html), has announced that the company helped raise $8,500 for North Carolina Arts in Action and Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Eastern North Carolina as the online marketing and charity raffle sponsor for the 2012 NC CEO Forum held at the North Ridge County Club on Oct. 11. All profits from the raffle and live auction were given to support the vital work of two child-focused charitable organizations in the state. Ives also served on the conference planning committee for the event.

The co-hosts and organizers of the forum, Rick Deckelbaum and Brian Kinahan, focused the discussions on leadership and management skills and continued to emphasize the theme of “giving back.” Jack Welch, former chairman and CEO of General Electric, served as the featured keynote speaker and discussed his experience at General Electric as well as his new book, Winning. The all-day program also featured keynote speakers by the title sponsors – Vern Davenport, chairman and CEO of M*Modal, Inc.; Paula Fryland, regional president of PNC Bank, Eastern Carolinas; Oscar Rodriguez, president and CEO of Extreme Networks; Brad Wilson, president and CEO of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NC; and Glen Tullman, CEO of Allscripts.

“We were extremely honored to be a sponsor for the 2012 NC CEO Forum,” said Ives. “As we admire the forum’s emphasis on giving back to the local community through charitable donations, we are very pleased that the annual event was able to raise so much to help support the North Carolina Arts in Action and Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Eastern North Carolina.”
