The Dix Park Conservancy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the revitalization and stewardship of Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The Strategy

For Dix Park Conservancy, Brasco’s Greg Behr helped them ratchet up a strategic communications plan ahead of a proposed bond referendum and millions of dollars of private donations to turn the 306-acre site into a world-class urban park.

The Results

Dix Park won its bond referendum paving (or rather unpaving) the way for Raleigh’s central park to take shape and welcome thousands of visitors each year.
